Providing culturally competent care to an increasingly diverse population is one of the major challenges confronting health care clinicians and administrators today as they seek to address the disparities that occur in providing access to quality health care. Through its grant-funded projects, the GNYHA Foundation seeks to empower healthcare professionals in improving key components that will serve to deliver culturally competent care.
